Testimonials and FAQ

clients sign contactWhat is re-facing?
Re-facing is done by removing all cabinet doors, drawers and moldings - leaving the cabinet frames and sides totally exposed. Using only the highest-quality materials, outside surfaces are totally covered. Wood strips and panels are installed horizontally and vertically on the cabinet fronts, sides and underneath to simulate new cabinetry! Outside vertical corners are done in such a way as to make the ends of the wood invisible, yet, from all visual appearance, Re-facing gives you the total look of new cabinetry!

What is the average cost of re-facing?
A complete tear out can cost from $10,000 to $15,000, while a re-facing could cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Typically, a client would select a kitchen look or design just as they would when planning a complete custom kitchen or bath.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing, to share my experience with Joe Varner and Let's Face It, Inc. My husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen. A trusted resource recommended we have Joe Varner come out for a consultation. I was not familiar with cabinet re-facing. My husband and I were both interested to hear what Joe had to say.

After our first meeting, we knew we'd be doing business with Joe. His professionalism, eye for detail, craftsmanship and years of experience were evident at that first meeting. Joe came up with multiple solutions for our kitchen challenges, including creating beautiful custom cabinetry for us. Whenever I pointed to a catalog or magazine and said what I wanted, Joe and his team created it. Joe's recommendations were always on track. Ask for his suggestions and seriously consider his input. He knows what he is doing.

During the job, Joe and his team were on time and ready to work, everyday as promised. They were courteous, professional and an absolute pleasure to have in my house. It is a messy process, but at the end of each day, they cleaned the work area and removed their tools and debris. As a homeowner, I don't have the skills to visualize a completed project in the early stages. That caused a couple of changes to the design or functionality mid-process. Joe and his team accepted each change in plans with a smile, determined to leave us as a satisfied customer.

As the job neared completion and our finished kitchen started to take shape, I was "blown away" by the craftsmanship and level of detail. Our new kitchen looks like furniture---finely crafted furniture. Not only is it beautiful, it is completely functional.

My experience with Joe Varner and Let's Face It, Inc., is the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. I highly recommend their services.

Dan & Shelly:

This letter is written to anyone considering professional remodeling or cabinetry work. It is our opinion that Joe Varner represents the BEST in cabinetry work with regards to talent and professionalism. We hired Joe to custom build a "library style" wall unit in our living room. These are the services he and his associates provided:

1. They worked with our ideas and offered suggestions to enhance the wall units design, storage capacity and eye appeal.
2. Joe helped us achieve our goal and stay within our budget.
3. They started and finished the project when they said they would.
4. The work area around our home was kept neat and made for very little inconvenience to our family household activities.
5. Joe Varner and his associates were professional, courteous and detail oriented.
6. Joe provided reliable references and satisfied customers for us to "preview" his workmanship.

Our wall unit is more than we hoped for and will probably outlast us. We unequivocally recommend Joe Varner and Let's Face It, Inc. for any cabinetry or wood working project you may have in mind for your home!

As I just told you on the phone. I AM CRAZY ABOUT MY NEW KITCHEN AND MANTLE! I appreciated so much all the care you and Gary and Randy put into the job. Several neighbors came by to see your work and thought it was fabulous. I may have a new client for you soon!

Many, many thanks, again!

Paul and Linda Franks:

Dear Joe and Crew:

We can't tell you how much we are enjoying our "new" kitchen. After 22 years, we still can't believe it when we walk into the room. We especially love the way you converted the old microwave cabinet into the built-in TV and adjacent wine rack. It really opened up the space.

It was a pleasure to work with all of you. Your professionalism is beyond compare. You will surely be hearing from some of our friends judging from all the positive reaction we have had.

Again, thank you for a job well done.

Martha L. Kaszowski:

Dear Mr. Varner,

I am writing this letter to thank you for the outstanding kitchen you built for me. I was very pleased with the input you gave to make it turn out the way it did. Out of 3 initial estimates, I felt yours was well worth the money. Having you coordinate with everyone else made things go a lot smoothly. I feel the time pattern went very well, me not needing to use my kitchen gave you time to get in and do your prep work. My kitchen is everything I wanted it to be and I enjoy just looking at the finished room.

The dining table/breakfast bar is ideal for my life, its available for a sit-down dinner or a quick lunch with friends. Everyone that I talked to said it always takes longer than the contractor says it will, but I feel it went pretty smoothly. It was finished in plenty of time for me to do what I needed to for my August party.

I would recommend you to any of my friends and have. Also to others, if the opportunity comes my way. Working with you revives my faith in people being proud of their work. Thank you again.

Sincerely yours,
Martha Kaszowski

Mr. Harward:

Dear Mr. Varner,
Just a quick note from Maxine and myself to thank you and your team for the excellent job they did remodeling our kitchen at Amelia by the Sea.

The kitchen looks GREAT and reflects a high quality of workmanship and materials. In addition, your attention to our follow-up requests added to the outstanding service we received starting with the first meeting.

Our experience working with Mr. Littell, your employees and you has been most pleasant. Mr. Littell did an excellent job establishing the scope of the project and your men of course did an excellent job 'making it happen'.

In summary, Let's Face It, Inc. did everything they said they would do, within an acceptable time frame. Consequently, we are a "happy customer." I believe that the money invested was well spent.

We will continue to recommend your company whenever we hear of someone looking at remodeling their home.

Mr. Harward

Wilby and Gloria Coleman:

We employed Let's Face It, Inc. as the general contractor to renovate our '70s-style condominium at Amelia by the Sea. The kitchen and one bathroom were gutted and redesigned. The rest was renovated, adding overhead fans and lighting fixtures. The work was done professionally and quickly. Joe and Sandra were indispensable in helping us select appliances, fixtures, wall coverings, etc. The subcontractors all performed under Joe's guidance.

We are pleased with the work done by Let's Face It, Inc. and with our new, modern, spacious condominium. Simply stated. we could not have done this renovation from out of town without their help.
